Dyspatch (Techdrop Labs Inc.)

My Role: As the Senior Product Designer, I owned end-to-end UX and UI across Dyspatch’s platform, shaping complex workflows and scalable systems in close partnership with Product and Engineering. Over the course of nearly 6 years, I helped evolve the product from a simple email builder into a robust production system that supports automation, compliance, and team autonomy.

Working Towards a True No-Code Experience

As part of a product vision exercise, I reimagined Dyspatch’s existing code-based block builder as a true no-code experience. Starting from scratch, I explored what the builder could be rather than iterating on existing constraints, designing a new builder that would enable non-technical users to create and customize blocks with confidence.

I spent several weeks researching, experimenting, and prototyping, sharing my iterations internally company-wide to gather feedback and generate excitement. While the exercise was focused on the block builder, the ultimate goal was to extend the new UX/UI to the email builder, and other campaign builders eventually. The project build was slated to begin in 2026.

Expanding into Multi-Channel

Driven by enterprise customer demand, I led the expansion of Dyspatch beyond email into a unified platform for multi-channel communication. Customers were using the email builder’s plain text version to initially create SMS messages. The user appetite was there, so we conducted interviews with those customers to understand what their communication goals were, and how feature-rich we’d need to make MVP releases to support their ideal requirements.

I conceptualized, researched, designed, and oversaw delivery of four new no-code builders (SMS, Push, Voice, and Live Activity) enabling customers to manage all critical outbound communications from within Dyspatch. This helped customers consolidate tools, lower their SAAS costs, and further minimize reliance on engineering teams.

Key Outcomes:

  • 2 builders delivered under tight timelines aligned with customer campaign launches

  • Secured two 6-figure multi-year enterprise renewals

  • Unexpected adoption and account expansion in the mid-market segment
